The artist.
In the olden times, artists were
revered as being blessed with the sight to ‘see’ beyond mortal vision. They
were thus elevated human beings, able to transcend mortal limitations and cross
over into other realms of existence and imagination, sharing their experiences
with others through their art. They were the ones who led humanity to be
civilized through the shared insight(knowledge) of their inner worlds (the
world beyond).
Today, perhaps, there is even more of a need in society for
people such as the artists of
olden times. The chaos we see outside is but a reflection of
our inner confusion.
Can artists today restore order to our chaos…..time will
tell.
